Samba Exercise Videos

This has been a project that I have been wanting to do for quite a while and have finally finished the first part. Samba is considered to be one of the most complex dances in International Latin because of the diverse actions in the hips, some of which are unique to the dance. In this part of the series, we will discuss the dilemma we often encounter and exercises that are designed to help get the body moving in the correct way. This will be done through video, writing, and a little graph.

US National DanceSport Championships Summary, Pictures, and Videos

Simeon and I started going to the NDCA Nationals, also known as the Provo Championships (or sometimes just “Provo”), in the first year we started dancing together, back in the year 2000. We danced at Provo for eleven consecutive years, first as youth, then as adults. We were in the Finals for six out of the eleven times we danced, twice as youth and four times as adults. Our second time we made the youth final, we won it, in 2002, becoming the NDCA Youth National Champions in Standard, the style that was and still is our forte.

"Dancing with the Stars" Season 12 began on Monday, March 21st. We are starting a Professional Review of every couple in every show from now until the end of the season. This season the reviews will be done by Kora. Although the page currently does not exist, please check the link below 24 hours after a performance for the updates.
