This red
Standard/Smooth dress is the twin of the Flamenco-style red latin. The
entire dress is close-fitting, with an underskirt of red chiffon. The length
of the skirt ends around the ankle. There is one long sleeve on the right
arm, and the neckline drops around the left arm and comes to a point on the
left side of the wearer's back, giving the illusion of greater lay-out when
in full dance position. The rhinestones are a combination of red and
fire-opal ab, and they are clumped at the neckline and dwindle onto the
skirt. The sleeve has a flower-and-tendril motif made with rhinestones,
sequins, and metallic thread. There is a detachable float made from the same
fabric as the sleeve, which attaches to the back of th right shoulder and
drapes across the back to a nude-colored gauntlet on the left forearm, to
give the illusion that the float is gathered over the arm in a Grecian
style.
