Emotions DanceSport was created by Simeon Stoynov & Kora Stoynova. They are the 9-Time Reigning Pacific Northwest Regional Champions, were Youth National Champions in 2002, and are two of the most sought after teachers in the Northwest. Class Choreography

We have been updating all of the dance choreography's. Take a look at them so you can get more acquainted with what we are doing in class. Some of the dances such as Paso Doble and Jive have detailed descriptions about each step so you can practice at home. It is also great if you have some questions. Newsletter

We have just debuted our Online and Email Newsletter. However, we still have it in print at select studios and competitions. The Newsletter has articles, announcements, and online videos on various ballroom and latin dance related topics. Dance Instruction

You can learn to dance through classes and private lessons. We specialize in Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Fotrot and Quickstep for the ballroom dances. Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive for the Latin. We also specialize in Swing and Salsa.

Private Social and Competitive Dance Lessons:

Private lessons are the quickest way to learn to Ballroom Dance. They are more expensive than group classes, but offer a more flexibility in terms of schedule, focus and dance style. Whether you are preparing for the social dance floor, wedding, dance competition, performance or special event, private lessons will help you achieve your goals faster with one-on-one dance instruction. Private lessons are the same price for up to 4 people.

Group Classes:

Group Classes are inexpensive (more so for individuals) and are a good way to try out a variety of dances and meet new friends. We have a variety of classes for all levels and no partners are necessary. However, if you find that you are unable to keep up with the group, miss some lessons, or are having difficulty with a particular figure, it may be advisable to purchase a few private lessons and use them to catch up with your classmates.

ISTD International Technique Seminars

This is a class series that we do on select Sundays, usually every Sunday we are in town. Classes are from 6pm-7pm and focus on one dance. The classes are an in depth study into the technique of all 10 of the International Style Dances. We go over foot positions, alignment, amount of turn, rise and fall, sway, CBM/CBMP, timing, footwork, and precedes and follows. This is the type of information that a teaching exam would focus on.
